Pink, Red, White: Heart Shaped Paper Quilling Card in a Brand New Looks

Hai, Dolls!
Today I am about to share my paper quilling card that inspired by Crafting Creatures works. This is one of many cards that I make when I was trying to learn paper quilling last year. I remember the moment when I spent my times all the day in front of my desk and looked nothing but Cecelia works on this blog. For your information, if I am not wrong Cecelia is the Crafting Creatures blog owner and seriously dolls, her works is incredibly amazing.

I couldn't take my eyes from the blog and when I found her works I was so inspired and I told my self that I should try this one. Besides the beautiful colors and creation, her paper quilling works is pretty challenging. It is not easy to keep the balance between both sides. Surely, for a beginner like me this works is way more complicated than making simple flower only. And for your information, at that moment I was having no idea about spectra paper so that I made it from manila paper (100-125gs) since that was the only shredded paper I had. How does it looks like then? So, this is it dolls!

I need to encourage my self to be brave on sharing this experience. Honestly, I feel so shy to share this works because I couldn't make it as pretty as Cecelia's. It took long time to finally made it in balance sides and matching colors. But the hard works was paid when I shown it to my man and he said that he likes it -well, yeah he always like whatever I make for him. I take it as compliment also the way he respect and supports me- even it was not precisely in perfect shaped size. After all, the works was worth and I could not stop smiling all day long.

Love,

  1. What a wonderful feeling it is when you make something which you think is OK, but your man just loves it.....
I can understand with that feeling because when I quill and I feel it's OK, my Man shall come around, appreciate me and plants a kiss on my cheeks in appreciation... It's just WOW!
And about your work, I guess it's time for me to look for hours at your blogs so one day i can quill this good.
